Lamu Oil and Gas completes 2D seismic survey of Kenya’s Block L14

Lamu Oil and Gas has carried out a 2D seismic survey of block L14 in the Lamu basin situated in Tana River and Delta districts.

The survey was done by BGP Kenya and covered 731 line kilometers with the next phase that involves interpretation of data to identify locations for seismic work or drilling with this phase expected to be through by May 2014.

There has been no news on whether the company discovered any hydrocarbon accumulations on the Block L14 is co-owned by Lamu Oil and Gas, Mauritius registered Edgo Energy and QFB part of the objective of the survey with starting of the next phase only an indication.
