{"id":954,"date":"2014-04-29T09:42:29","date_gmt":"2014-04-29T06:42:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oilnewskenya.com\/?p=954"},"modified":"2015-09-02T21:22:09","modified_gmt":"2015-09-02T21:22:09","slug":"eastern-africa-oilgas-lngenergy-conference-starts-in-nairobi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/eastern-africa-oilgas-lngenergy-conference-starts-in-nairobi\/","title":{"rendered":"Eastern Africa Oil,Gas\/ LNG&#038; Energy Conference starts in Nairobi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The conference and summit brings together stakeholders in the oil and gas industry including government, African National Oil companies, Licensing agencies, foreign state national players and the supporting service industry.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will in the first day address a host of issues including: acreage, assets and licensing in Eastern Africa, the region\u2019s discoveries and developments as well as Eastern Africa\u2019s interior basins, offshore linkages and exploration.<\/p>\n<p>These sessions will see talks from players in the region including Africa Oil, Tullow Oil, Sapestro, BGP Kenya and the African institute of petroleum under corporate players, as well as the petroleum exploration and production department in Uganda, department f geological survey in Malawi, ministere des hydrocarbures in DRC, and the department of geology in Burundi representing government.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday major players in oil exploration and production are expected to deliver their policies in emerging and frontier states.
