{"id":8877,"date":"2020-08-17T08:18:07","date_gmt":"2020-08-17T08:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oilnewskenya.com\/?p=8877"},"modified":"2020-08-17T08:18:07","modified_gmt":"2020-08-17T08:18:07","slug":"nigeria-bw-offshore-kidnapped-employees-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/nigeria-bw-offshore-kidnapped-employees-released\/","title":{"rendered":"NIGERIA: BW Offshore Kidnapped Employees Released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BW Offshore Limited a global owner and operator of floating production storage and offloading vessels has reported that nine of its\u00a0 offshore employees\u00a0 that had earlier been reported kidnapped from the FPSO Sendje Berge on 2 July 2020 have been safely released.<\/p>\n<p>The nine were kidnapped on 2 July 2020, at approximately 4:20 am local time when BW Offshore\u2019s FPSO Sendje Berge was subject to an attack by pirates offshore Nigeria .<\/p>\n<p>BW Offshore reported it was cooperating with local authorities, represented on site by the Nigerian Navy.<\/p>\n<p>Sendje Berge is situated on the Okwori field in Nigeria on contract to Addax Petroleum and Sinopec till 2021.
