The National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), as a national concessionaire and holder of mining rights for the prospecting, research, evaluation, development and production of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons throughout the Angolan territory, informs all companies that the Data Package for blocks for oil exploration in the Terrestrial Basins of the Lower Congo\u00a0(\u00a0CON1, CON5 and CON6\u00a0) and the\u00a0Kwanza (KON5, KON6, KON8, KON9, KON17 and KON20) is available .<\/p>\n

The entities that intend to consult the data of the aforementioned and other available basins, as well as participate in a Data Show Room to be carried out by the national concessionaire, should express their interest through the email\u00a0licensing_round2020@anpg.co.ao.<\/a><\/p>\n

ANPG also informs that, according to the\u00a0Schedule of Activities of the Bidding Process 2020\u00a0, all conditions were created so that\u00a0by the end of May,\u00a0the announcement of the intention to launch the public tender was made, pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 86\/18, of April 2nd.\u00a0However, due to the current economic constraints caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, this date may undergo minor adjustments.<\/p>\n

It is important, however, to emphasize that despite the adverse situation, the objectives of previously scheduled bids have not changed.\u00a0The need to streamline and continue petroleum operations in the country remains valid, with emphasis on exploration activities.<\/p>\n

The national concessionaire will, in due course, publish information on the evolution of the process on its aforementioned portal and in the national and international media, as well as the announcement of the intention to launch the public tender, pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 86\/18 , of April 2nd.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
