{"id":797,"date":"2014-03-25T19:20:00","date_gmt":"2014-03-25T19:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oilnewskenya.com\/?p=797"},"modified":"2015-09-02T21:12:49","modified_gmt":"2015-09-02T21:12:49","slug":"anadarko-sells-two-thirds-mozambique-lng-capacity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/anadarko-sells-two-thirds-mozambique-lng-capacity\/","title":{"rendered":"Anadarko sells two-thirds of Mozambique LNG capacity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[twitter-follow screen_name=&#8217;oilnewskenya&#8217;]<\/p>\n<p>Reuters<\/p>\n<p>Anadarko Petroleum\u00a0has sold two-thirds of the capacity of its planned Mozambique liquefied natural gas (LNG) project to Asian customers and hopes to have the rest sold soon, its chief executive said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The company is the primary operator of\u00a0Mozambique&#8217;s Rovuma Offshore Area 1, which is estimated to hold more than 65 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.<\/p>\n<p>LNG, gas chilled to liquid form for sea transport, is a key fuel source and many Asian nations have been hungry to find steady sources.
