This is up from 70,000 barrels reported in February but clearly a sign of a slowdown in
evacuation with an average of 6000 barrels transported per month in the last
quarter as compared to 10,000 barrels transported in January and 30,000 barrels
transported between November 2018 and January 2019 which has been attributed to
lack of the regulatory approval earlier.

The project which commenced in
June 2018 with the launch by the President Uhuru Kenyatta is on track to the
first lifting of sweet Kenyan crude oil stored in Mombasa is expected in the
second half of 2019 with granting of regulatory approval and once the Amosing
temporary production facility is fully operational. Africa Oil attributes this to the
Company’s share of appraisal stage projects (Blocks 10BB and 13T – Kenya)
and include expenditures related to the following activities: geological and
geophysical studies, development studies (including upstream and midstream
FEEDs, land acquisition, ESIAs, water acquisition and subsurface reservoir
studies) and general and administrative costs incurred in relation the
Company’s Production Sharing Agreements.

Transportation of crude oil from the South Lokichar basin by truck is expected to normalize following the granting of regulatory approval from Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) (Formerly Energy … Read More

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[11
4581,3234
post-7681","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-top-news","tag-esia","tag-feed","entry
https://www.oilnewskenya.com/index.php/construction-crude-oil-early-production-facility-starts-turkana/
Dubai based Almansoori Petroleum Company has started the construction of an early Production Facility (EPF) at Amosing that will help block operator Tullow Oil start the production of oil in South Lokichar under the Early Oil Pilot Scheme (EOPS) according to Ministry of Petroleum and Mining Principal Secretary Andrew Kamau.…
https://i0.wp.com/www.oilnewskenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/EOPS-Early-Production-Facility-2.jpg?fit=534%2C401&ssl=1&resize=350%2C200
https://i0.wp.com/www.oilnewskenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/EOPS-Early-Production-Facility-2.jpg?fit=534%2C401&ssl=1&resize=350%2C200 1x, https://i0.wp.com/www.oilnewskenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/EOPS-Early-Production-Facility-2.jpg?fit=534%2C401&ssl=1&resize=525%2C300 1.5x

https://www.oilnewskenya.com/index.php/egypt-chevron-brings-on-stream-gnn-oil-field-early-production-facility/
Cheiron Energy has announced that the Early Production Facility (EPF) for the GNN oil field in the Gulf of Suez has been brought on stream.
