Anadarko Petroleum has\nannounced that Mozambique LNG1 Company, the jointly owned sales entity of\nthe Mozambique Area 1 co-venturers, has signed a Sale and\nPurchase Agreement (SPA) with Bharat Gas Resources, a wholly owned\nsubsidiary of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL). The SPA is for 1\nmillion tonnes per annum (MTPA) for a term of 15 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anadarko is developing Mozambique’s\nfirst onshore LNG plant consisting of two initial LNG trains with a total\nnameplate capacity of 12.88 MTPA to support the development of the Golfinho\/Atum\nfield located entirely within Offshore Area 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anadarko Mo\u00e7ambique \u00c1rea 1, a\nwholly owned subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corp, operates Offshore\nArea 1 with a 26.5-percent working interest. Co-venturers include ENH\nRovuma \u00c1rea Um, (15 percent), Mitsui E&P Mozambique Area1.
