{"id":6941,"date":"2018-04-11T11:57:20","date_gmt":"2018-04-11T11:57:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=6941"},"modified":"2018-04-11T12:00:23","modified_gmt":"2018-04-11T12:00:23","slug":"albertine-graben-refinery-consortium-awarded-uganda-refinery-bid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/albertine-graben-refinery-consortium-awarded-uganda-refinery-bid\/","title":{"rendered":"Albertine Graben Refinery Consortium Awarded Uganda Refinery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The General Electric,\u00a0SAIPEM SPA led Albertine Graben Refinery Consortium (AGRC) will now build the oil <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/1TXfqP8\">refinery<\/a> in Hoima District after the signing of the Project Framework Agreement between the government and the AGRC. The agreement will ensure development, design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the oil refinery in Hoima District.<\/p>\n<p>While congratulating the parties to the agreement, President Museveni said the composition of the AGRC showed that Western companies were also waking up to realize Africa&#8217;s potential.
