Further on Ntorya 3 Aminex says the tendering process for a rig to drill Chikumbi-1 is due to close during the current quarter with an expected spud date later in the year, exact timing of which will be dependent on rig availability.<\/p>\nThe planned Ntorya 3 well in Tanzania\u2019s the Ntorya appraisal area will now be renamed Chikumbi-1 well at the request of the Tanzanian Government according to operator Aminex.<\/p>\n
According to Aminex the well targeting the same reservoir tested in Ntorya-1 and in Ntorya-2 in an updip position will also be testing a deeper target at the proposed total depth is approx. 3,400 metres. Ntorya-3 well is expected to be drilled 5.65km west of Ntorya-1.<\/p>\n

This new seismic will enable the acquisition of up to 700 square kilometres of new 3D seismic in the deep water.<\/p>\n
