The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) has invited the registration of new suppliers to the country\u2019s oil and gas industry by publishing guidelines<\/a> for the 2018 registration on the supply of goods and services.<\/p>\n

Already the company has started accepting applications from companies, persons and entities wishing to be listed in the National Supplier Database starting the beginning of September and will continue till the end of October.<\/p>\n

According to PAU only companies\/entities\/persons that have applied at least 2 months prior to the publication date of 31st December 2017 shall appear on the register for that year once verified and qualified.<\/p>\n

PAU adds that there shall be an announcement every year by the 31st December and a possible update as may be determined and announced by the Authority.<\/p>\n

Companies already listed as suppliers on the 2017 NSD Register will be required to fill Form 2 as a way of updating their records and expressing interest to remain on the 2018 register as by guidelines set by PAU they can only remain on the NSD for one year after which will be required to reapply.<\/p>\n

The verification process is expected to take not less than two months from the day of submission of an application through the PAU website and it involves verification of the information submitted with other government agencies including URSB, URA and NSSF for Ugandan companies and consultation with foreign missions in the country for foreign companies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
