Regional office will facilitate development of projects throughout the continent<\/em><\/p>\n

Bechtel, a global leader in engineering, procurement, and construction has announced the opening of a regional\u00a0Africa\u00a0office in\u00a0Nairobi, Kenya. This regional office reflects the company’s commitment to supporting\u00a0Africa’s\u00a0economic growth.<\/p>\n

According to Bechtel’s region president for\u00a0Africa Andrew Patterson (based in Nairobi) the new office in\u00a0Nairobi\u00a0presents an opportunity to focus on building stronger relationships with its customers and their communities.<\/p>\n

“We are excited about creating a permanent presence in\u00a0Africa\u00a0to support our customers in delivering large infrastructure, oil and gas and mining projects” says Patterson.<\/p>\n

For more than 70 years, Bechtel has worked in\u00a0Africa\u00a0on hundreds of projects. This history and global experience positions the company well to continue to support\u00a0Africa\u00a0to deliver the next generation of major projects.<\/p>\n

Bechtel says it is committed to supporting the continued development of the continent by helping to build transformative and resilient projects, as\u00a0sustainability\u00a0is central to Bechtel’s approach.<\/p>\n
