{"id":5619,"date":"2016-07-16T15:13:19","date_gmt":"2016-07-16T15:13:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=5619"},"modified":"2017-01-25T15:25:24","modified_gmt":"2017-01-25T15:25:24","slug":"edgo-opens-services-center-to-open-office-in-mozambique","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/edgo-opens-services-center-to-open-office-in-mozambique\/","title":{"rendered":"Edgo Opens Services Center, to open office in Mozambique"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edgo has announced that it has further bolstered its presence in sub-Saharan Africa with the expansion of the Group\u2019s operations into Mozambique.<\/p>\n<p>Edgo Services Center targets over 75 trillion cubic feet of estimated recoverable natural gas that have been discovered so far offshore in the Rovuma basin, in the northern Province of Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. Recently, Eni, Anadarko and the national oil company ENH have awarded a major $15B EPC contract to the CCS consortium of Saipem, Chicago Bridge &amp; Iron and Chiyoda to build 2 LNG trains.<\/p>\n<p>Edgo Services Center (ESC) will therefore support the massive gas development in the country and has acquired land in the northern town of Palma where it will establish the center.The ESC will provide logistical and operational support to companies involved in the LNG development.<\/p>\n<p>Edgo is also setting up an office in Pemba which is the capital of Cabo Delgado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe expect Pemba to be transformed into a major oil and gas hub that will include supply bases, LNG receiving facilities, construction, residential and commercial facilities,\u201d Edgo said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Edgo is a diverse and multidisciplinary company operating in 32 locations in 21 countries including <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2jRBTTQ\">Kenya<\/a>, Uganda and Mozambique in East Africa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Edgo has announced that it has further bolstered its presence in sub-Saharan Africa with the expansion of the Group\u2019s operations into Mozambique.
