Aberdeen headquartered international drilling and engineering contractor, KCA Deutag has said it has offered to purchase Dalma Energy (Omani \/ Saudi oil and gas drilling company) for an as yet undisclosed sum.<\/p>\n
Country Manager KCA Deutag – Kenya and East Africa, Graham McIvor has spoken of the impact this will have on the African business development and the certain contract awards he has been negotiating in Kenya, with Tullow and Midway respectively as part of his business development role.<\/p>\n
Graham has indicated the Dalma business will add further contracts to the already significant business in the Middle East as well the potential in Africa.<\/p>\n
Graham feels the Dalma’s predominately Asian management team will significantly benefit from the experience and expertise of the KCA Deutag Dubai based professional management and sees the opportunities in Kenya as very attractive.<\/p>\n
