{"id":4898,"date":"2016-08-03T09:30:49","date_gmt":"2016-08-03T09:30:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=4898"},"modified":"2017-01-24T20:32:48","modified_gmt":"2017-01-24T20:32:48","slug":"uganda-invites-five-bidders-to-negotiate-psas-in-first-competitive-licensing-round","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/uganda-invites-five-bidders-to-negotiate-psas-in-first-competitive-licensing-round\/","title":{"rendered":"Uganda invites Five Bidders to negotiate PSA\u2019s in first competitive licensing round"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development has announced it has completed evaluation of bids for the first competitive licensing round and invited the successful companies to negotiate Production Sharing Agreements (PSAs).<\/p>\n<p>Four companies from Nigeria and Australia have been invited to negotiate for PSAs for three blocks blocks as indicated below:<br \/>\n1. Armour Energy Limited of Australia for the Kanywataba Block.<br \/>\n2. WalterSmithPetroman Oil Limited of Nigeria, for the Shallow and Deep Plays in the Turaco area.<br \/>\n3.
