{"id":4427,"date":"2016-03-02T08:57:42","date_gmt":"2016-03-02T08:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=4427"},"modified":"2017-01-25T12:10:05","modified_gmt":"2017-01-25T12:10:05","slug":"jogmec-signs-extension-of-joint-survey-agreement-offshore-seychelles-for-hydrocarbons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/jogmec-signs-extension-of-joint-survey-agreement-offshore-seychelles-for-hydrocarbons\/","title":{"rendered":"JOGMEC Signs Extension of Joint Survey Agreement Offshore Seychelles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC: Minato-ku, Tokyo) through its President: Mr. Keisuke Kuroki has signed an extension to the Joint Survey Agreement for the evaluation of the hydrocarbon potential in offshore Seychelles with Ministry Responsible for Hydrocarbons and PetroSeychelles Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>JOGMEC has been conducting geological and geophysical surveys including seismic surveys with PetroSeychelles since\u00a0 August 2013 under the Exploration License granted by the Government of Seychelles.<\/p>\n<p>After the surveys ended on February 29, 2016, an additional survey was considered necessary and the Government of Seychelles, PetroSeychelles, and JOGMEC agreed to extend the current Exploration License for further 2 years.
