Mozambique\u00a0will host the 4th Annual Powering Africa forum in Maputo from the\u00a07th-8th May 2015\u00a0 where participants will be given the opportunity to connect with over 150 senior participants including power developers, financiers, DFIs and transmission partners to discuss market developments, investment opportunities and the viability of project finance in line with the country\u2019s vision 2025 objectives.<\/p>\n
Topics will focus on the new Ministry\u2019s strategies for encouraging investment, natural resources and generation topics in support of Mozambique\u2019s plans to escalate electricity access in line with its future gas economy.<\/p>\n
There will also be targeted sessions focusing on gas, renewable energy and regional interconnectivity in a view to see how they will provide\u00a0a platform for the development of the off-taker market in support of the country\u2019s ‘Vision 2025’ development plan.<\/p>\n
In addition the meeting organized by EnergyNet will take a closer look at the different financing models available to support industry developments and\u00a0strengthen public-private partnerships,\u00a0and feature case studies by implementers and their partners.<\/p>\n
