{"id":2735,"date":"2015-03-23T09:32:34","date_gmt":"2015-03-23T09:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=2735"},"modified":"2015-05-18T19:35:33","modified_gmt":"2015-05-18T19:35:33","slug":"universal-pegasus-international-seeks-increase-presence-east-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/universal-pegasus-international-seeks-increase-presence-east-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"Universal Pegasus International seeks to increase presence in East Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Universal Pegasus International (UPI), a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries which is participating in the 2015 East Africa <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/KFrK2\">Trade Mission<\/a> to Mozambique and Tanzania says it aims to increase UPI\u2019s activity in the region as part of helping the company strengthen its global presence.<\/p>\n<p>According to UPI&#8217;s business development manager for the U.K. Tony Stead the company also hopes to work with other Scottish leaders in business and academia to help expand education, training and capacity building in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAttending missions such as this is a crucial part of helping us strengthen our global presence, particularly in a region with such potential. In order to augment the East African oil and gas industry, the region will need expanded education, training and capacity building.
