Jacka Resources has announced it has initiated a farm-out campaign after being approached by a number of parties interested in the license in its Ruhuhu Block.<\/p>\n
This continues even as the comprehensive review of the license area\u2019s prospectivity that was recently completed continues.<\/p>\n
The comprehensive review the company says will be used to guide the future exploration program which includes field mapping, further airborne geophysical surveys and seismic prior to any drilling.<\/p>\n
Jacka says it is also reprocessing older data to allow the company design and acquire a high resolution airborne Full Tensor Gravity and magnetic surveys targeting individual sub basins within the Ruhuhu basin during 2014\/15.<\/p>\n
The Ruhuhu licence is located in south-west Tanzania and covers an area of 10,343 km2 and Jacka is the Operator holding 100% of the licence which provides Jacka with the petroleum exploration rights to the entire Ruhuhu Basin, a Karoo rift basin, and to a portion of the Lake Nyasa rift basin which is part of the East African rift system.<\/p>\n
