{"id":1744,"date":"2014-09-09T09:26:19","date_gmt":"2014-09-09T08:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oilnewskenya.com\/?p=1744"},"modified":"2015-09-07T13:53:19","modified_gmt":"2015-09-07T13:53:19","slug":"camac-energy-closes-100-million-credit-facility-from-zenith-bank","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/camac-energy-closes-100-million-credit-facility-from-zenith-bank\/","title":{"rendered":"CAMAC Energy Closes $100 Million Credit Facility from Zenith bank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CAMAC Energy has\u00a0announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, CAMAC Petroleum Limited, has entered into a credit facility with Zenith Bank Plc for a five-year senior secured term loan providing initial borrowing capacity of up to $100 million.\u00a0U.S. dollar borrowings under the term loan facility will bear interest at the rate of LIBOR plus 7.5%, subject to a floor of 9.5%.<\/p>\n<p>The security package for the term loan facility includes a legal charge over OMLs 120 and 121 and an assignment of proceeds from oil sales.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the term loan facility will be used for the further expansion and development of OMLs 120 and 121 offshore Nigeria, including the Oyo Field.<\/p>\n<p>CAMAC&#8217;s\u00a0Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer\u00a0Earl W.
