{"id":15753,"date":"2026-05-06T05:33:57","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T05:33:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=15753"},"modified":"2026-05-06T05:33:57","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T05:33:57","slug":"angola-subsea7-awarded-epci-contract-in-block-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/angola-subsea7-awarded-epci-contract-in-block-15\/","title":{"rendered":"ANGOLA: Subsea7 Awarded EPCI Contract in Block 15"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subsea7 today announced the award of a substantial engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract by ExxonMobil to Subsea Integration Alliance (SIA) for a subsea tie-back associated with the Redevelopment 2.0 Likembe Project in Block 15, offshore Angola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Project management and engineering will be managed by Subsea7\u2019s offices in Paris, Luanda, Lisbon and Sutton. As part of Subsea Integration Alliance\u2019s integrated delivery model, SLB OneSubsea will execute the umbilical scope from its Center of Excellence in Moss, Norway, supported by project management and engineering teams based in Houston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David Bertin, Senior Vice President for Global Projects Centre East for Subsea7, said: \u201cThis project builds on our track record in West Africa, Australia and the US. Together with ExxonMobil, we are committed to delivering the project safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, while continuing to support the development of local capabilities in Angola.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olivier Blaringhem, Subsea Integration Alliance Chief Executive Officer, said: \u201cThis award further strengthens our relationship with ExxonMobil.
