{"id":15267,"date":"2025-10-07T10:14:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-07T10:14:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=15267"},"modified":"2025-10-07T10:14:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T10:14:30","slug":"europa-oil-gas-announces-eg-08-psc-phase-1-extension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/europa-oil-gas-announces-eg-08-psc-phase-1-extension\/","title":{"rendered":"Europa Oil &amp; Gas Announces EG-08 PSC Phase 1 Extension"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Europa Oil &amp; Gas has announced that, in accordance with the exploration periods and their extensions set out in Article 2 of the EG-08 production sharing contract, as well as with the PSC amendments recognised in Articles 29.1 and 9 of the Hydrocarbons Law the Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mining Development for Equatorial Guinea has granted a 12-month extension to the initial 2-year period of the PSC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Europa has a 42.9% equity interest in Antler Global Limited, which holds an 80% working interest in the EG-08 PSC, with the remaining 20% held by GEPetrol (Guinea Equatorial de Petr\u00f3leos), the national oil and<br>gas company of Equatorial Guinea, representing the State\u2019s interest. The formalities to finalise the<br>extension are ongoing and are expected to be completed in the coming days.
