{"id":1507,"date":"2014-07-28T12:10:58","date_gmt":"2014-07-28T09:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oilnewskenya.com\/?p=1507"},"modified":"2015-09-04T09:46:41","modified_gmt":"2015-09-04T09:46:41","slug":"us-africa-summit-presents-new-opportunity-to-africa-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/us-africa-summit-presents-new-opportunity-to-africa-businesses\/","title":{"rendered":"US-Africa Summit Presents New Opportunity to Africa Businesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[twitter-follow screen_name=&#8217;oilnewskenya&#8217;]<\/p>\n<p>Starting next month the Africa business community will be granted a huge opportunity to tap into the United States economy in the first ever Africa Summit in the United States which has attracted over 50 heads of states.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe summit hosted by US President Barrack Obama is expected to open doors for more business collaboration between Africa businesses and their counterparts in the US,\u201d Stephen Hayes, President and CEO of the Corporate Council on Africa said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCamac Energy is a good example of a successful collaboration between the United States and Africa and the upcoming summit will provide an excellent opportunity to further areas of partnership and strengthening of trade ties,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Camac Energy Inc, one of the main sponsor for the Corporate Council on Africa and is quoted on the New York Stock Exchange has exploration projects in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Gambia. \u201cLeading the Way in U.S. \u2013 Africa Investment\u201d the weeklong summit is aimed at strengthening trade ties between the United States and Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The Corporate Council on Africa will host a business forum as well as targeted networking opportunities.
