{"id":14982,"date":"2025-05-05T11:30:45","date_gmt":"2025-05-05T11:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=14982"},"modified":"2025-05-05T11:30:47","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T11:30:47","slug":"benin-akrake-signs-contracts-for-production-vessels-for-seme-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/benin-akrake-signs-contracts-for-production-vessels-for-seme-field\/","title":{"rendered":"BENIN: Akrake Signs Contracts For Production Vessels For Seme Field"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rex International and together with its subsidiaries announces that its indirect subsidiary, Akrake Petroleum Benin S.A., has confirmed that it had on 25 April 2025, signed contracts for a Mobile Production Unit (MOPU) and an Aframax tanker to be used as a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit for Akrake\u2019s field development in Benin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MOPU will be converted from a medium-sized drilling rig. Following the conversion, the MOPU will be equipped with a purpose-built process package. Both the MOPU and the FSO are expected to arrive in Benin during the fourth quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Akrake, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lime Petroleum Holding AS, is the operator of the S\u00e8m\u00e8 Field in Benin.
