Tanzania will In March 2014 host the East Africa Oil and Gas summit in Dar es Salaam that is meant to discuss the developments, challenges and opportunities of the oil and gas sector in East Africa.<\/p>\n

The event that will both have a conference and exhibition will discuss current and future oil and gas developments as well as new projects in both upstream and downstream sectors and expecta a high level delegation and presentations.<\/p>\n

Among speakers expected at the summit include the director of mines in Ethiopia Dr. Ketsela Tadesse, director for hydrocarbons in South Sudan William Anyak Deng, principal secretary in the ministry of energu and mining in Malawi Hilton Eneya among others.<\/p>\n

Among companies represented include: Somali Petroleum Corporation, International Exploration and New Ventures, Marathon oil, Tembo petroleum, ERHC energy, NUEnergy gas and Dentons.<\/p>\n
