TotalEnergies has signed an agreement to acquire a\u00a060% interest and operatorship in Block\u00a0STP02, offshore Sao Tome and Principe, from the Ag\u00eancia Nacional do Petrol\u00e9o de S. Tom\u00e9 e Princip\u00e9\u00a0(ANP-STP). The remaining interest will be held by the existing license holders, Sonangol\u00a0(30%) and\u00a0ANP-STP\u00a0(10%). The transaction is subject to final approvals from relevant authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located within an emerging basin, 60 km off the coast of Principe, Block STP02 covers an area of 4,969 km2<\/sup>. Block STP02 is adjacent to the Block STP01 license operated by TotalEnergies (55%) alongside Sonangol (30%) and ANP-STP (15%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
