{"id":11517,"date":"2022-01-05T09:53:02","date_gmt":"2022-01-05T09:53:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/?p=11517"},"modified":"2022-01-05T09:53:02","modified_gmt":"2022-01-05T09:53:02","slug":"zimbabwe-invictus-energy-secures-long-leads-for-a-2-well-drilling-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/zimbabwe-invictus-energy-secures-long-leads-for-a-2-well-drilling-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"ZIMBABWE: Invictus Energy Secures Long Leads for a 2-Well Drilling Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Invictus Energy has provided an update on the activities of its 80% owned and operated Cabora Bassa Project in Zimbabwe.<br \/>\n<strong>Wellheads and Casing Long Leads Secured for Drilling Program<\/strong><br \/>\nInvictus has confirmed that it has secured the necessary casing, wellheads and ancillary long lead items for a 2-well drilling<br \/>\nprogram commencing in May 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bidding Process for Well Services Contract Completed and Award in Progress<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Company has completed an extensive tendering exercise for integrated well services contract including cementing, directional<br \/>\ndrilling, logging while drilling, drilling fluids and wireline services for the upcoming drilling campaign. The formal award of the contract is<br \/>\nexpected shortly.<\/p>\n<p>Invictus Managing Director Scott Macmillan commented:<br \/>\n\u201cWe are very pleased with the way the drilling program is coming together with Invictus securing the wellheads and casing long lead<br \/>\nitems for a high impact 2-well drilling program. We are now finalising the well services contract award and working to execute<br \/>\nthe binding rig agreement with Exalo for the #202 drilling rig. Invictus remains on track for the upcoming drilling campaign to<br \/>\ncommence in May 2022.
