This is part of the company&#8217;s intention at inception, to provide access to information that can help Africans make investment decisions in this industry, one of the greatest challenges to indigenous companies participating in what seems like a closed conclave.\u00a0To make this dream true for all our readers the management decided to open up our industry outlooks and overviews to advertisers in the various oilfield services who would help bear the cost of research and creation of these documents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UGANDA TILENGA PROJECT DEVELOPMENT STAGE &amp; EAST AFRICA CRUDE OIL PIPELINE (EACOP) OUTLOOK 2021 \u2013 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uganda has made its early steps towards the development phase with the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services contract for the Tilenga Project awarded to a consortium of a subsidiary of McDermott International, Ltd and Sinopec International.<\/p>\n<p>The Tilenga project which includes six oil fields and will feature 426 oil wells at full production is located in the Lake Albert Basin, Republic of\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Uganda<\/span>\u00a0and is the centerpiece of oil projects projected to bring investments of over\u00a0<span class=\"xn-money\">$10bn<\/span>\u00a0to\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Uganda<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Tanzania<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0It will consist of 31 well pads connected to a central processing facility (CPF) via buried flowlines.<\/p>\n<p>This report looks into the various aspects of the development phase project scope starting with the development of the nine oilfields and the supporting facilities such as camps.\u00a0 The report looks into initial project schedule and phases with first dives into the expected contracts into the first six months and\u00a0 overall project schedule thereafter.<\/p>\n<p>Later the report addresses the preliminary well pad schedule for the three rigs as well as services and goods to be provided by Ugandan companies. This is particularly important as the government pushes for local content in the project and the license holders promise to involve local enterprises as a way to acquire a social operating license.<\/p>\n<p>The report also unbundles other support infrastructure projects including the Kabaale industrial park, the refinery and the East African Crude Oil pipeline (EACOP).
