Invictus Energy\u00a0has\u00a0<\/span>provided an update on the activities of its 80% owned and\u00a0<\/span>operated\u00a0Cabora Bassa Project in Zimbabwe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Further to the announcement\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a022 December 2020, the non<\/span>–<\/span>binding farm<\/span>–<\/span>in agreement has been terminated.\u00a0<\/span>Invictus was\u00a0<\/span>unable to satisfactorily complete the required transaction due\u00a0<\/span>diligence on the counterparty and the parties have ceased\u00a0<\/span>discussions. The Company says it continues to engage with additional <\/span>interested parties.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Company\u2019s near-term focus is completing the seismic <\/span>acquisition program announced to the ASX on\u00a025 June 2021, which\u00a0<\/span>is expected to conclude approximately\u00a0<\/span>at the\u00a0<\/span>end of Q3. The camp\u00a0<\/span>construction and the local recruitment campaign for 120 field crew\u00a0<\/span>is being fi<\/span>nalized ahead of the imminent commencement of the <\/span>program.<\/span><\/p>\n
