{"id":10217,"date":"2021-04-14T09:56:34","date_gmt":"2021-04-14T09:56:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oilnewskenya.com\/?p=10217"},"modified":"2021-04-14T09:56:34","modified_gmt":"2021-04-14T09:56:34","slug":"senegal-remus-horizon-offers-take-over-of-far-interest-in-the-rssd-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oilnewskenya.com\/index.php\/senegal-remus-horizon-offers-take-over-of-far-interest-in-the-rssd-project\/","title":{"rendered":"SENEGAL: Remus Horizon Offers Take Over of FAR Interest in the RSSD Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span dir=\"ltr\">FAR Limited has announced it has received the accompanying letter from Remus Horizons <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">advising its intention to make a takeover offer for FAR shares at 2.1 cents per share.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">The proposed takeover is conditional only on shareholders rejecting the sale of FAR\u2019s interest in the RSSD Project <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">and the FAR Directors confirming that there is no intention to dispose of this interest prior to the closing of the\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">takeover offer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">FAR shareholders are due to consider approving this sale at a shareholders\u2019 meeting which has been convened\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">for tomorrow, 15 April 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">The FAR Board recognises that FAR shareholders are likely to want an opportunity to consider the implications\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">of this prior to voting on the sale resolution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">Accordingly the FAR Board intends to address this development as the first item of business at the meeting,\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">including whether shareholders would seek more time to consider its implications.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAR Limited has announced it has received the accompanying letter from Remus Horizons advising its intention to make a takeover offer for FAR shares at 2.1 cents per share.
